CAT S50 is highly specced, advanced 4G Rugged smartphone available in the market. Rugged phones are usually built for outdoor activities, adventure sports or even for the military usage. Wet, cold, dusty or even windy climate cannot hold the performance of this amazing device. It is scratch resistant, dust proof, water proof and can be used even with wet fingers. It gets the IP67 certification along with the Mil Std 810G certification as well. Some of the additional features include transport and thermal shock resistance, solar radiation, NFC connectivity and Qi wireless charging.

It is based on the Android 4.4 KitKat platform with Quadcore 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor on the top. It is backed by 2 GB RAM with an internal storage space of 8 GB which can be expanded up to 64 GB using microSD card. This phone is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 2630 mAh battery with 16 hours of talk time and 792 hours of standby time. The 4.7 inch display uses IPS LCD technology with 720 X 1280 pixels resolution. An 8 MP primary camera at the back with LED flash light and another VGA camera at the front is found in this device. Main camera is capable enough to shoot videos at 1080p quality.
