Samsung calls their new product Xcover 4 as a rugged smartphone. This distinctive looking smartphone is specially developed for extreme and harsh conditions. It has been built hard enough to resist against water, dust, impacts and extreme temperatures. The toughness of this phone has been guaranteed by the US military standard MIL-STD 810G, which means it will be able to withstand intense sunlight, salt, water, mist, mechanical shocks and vibrations. Xcover 4 has IP68 water and dust resistance certification.

Xcover 4 features 4.99-inch TFT IPS LCD Capacitive touchscreen having a resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels with 16M colors. The latest Android 7.0 Nougat platform runs the phone with 1.4 GHz Quad-core processor underneath. It is backed by 2GB RAM with an internal storage space of 16GB, which can be expanded upto 256 GB using microSD card. The handset is powered by 2800mAh, Li-ion non-removable battery with long lasting back up. Apart from the HD display screen, the phone features 13 MP camera with LED flash at the rear and a front facing 5 MP camera for enhanced selfie experience.
