Google marked the end of Nexus era with the launch of Pixel smartphones. For the past years they have been using other manufacturers for their Nexus phone and tablets. And now, Pixel is the new phase Google's own device based on the Android platform. Pixel C is the first tablet to be featured under this new brand.
It is an all-metal frame, sleek tablet having 7mm thickness and weighing 525 grams. Unlike other tablets in the market, this one has squared edges with speaker grilles. Its nice looking 10.2-inch screen features an amazing display having a resolution of 2560 X 1800 pixels with great aspect ratio. The glossy screen have a high color accuracy with pixel density of 308ppi. The tablet features two sets of camera, an 8 MP camera at the rear and 5 MP camera on the front facing side. Both the camera offers superior picture quality and gets features like touch focus and panorama.
Moving on to the core, it is based on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat platform with 1.9 GHz Quad-Core Nvidia Tegra processor on the top. It is the first tablet to feature Nvidia's processor. The storage unit of this device consists of 3 GB RAM and an internal storage space of 32 GB/ 64 GB. The device do not supports external memory card slot. One of the most outstanding feature of this device is its non-removable Li-Po 9240 mAh battery. Battery back up of this Google tablet is to be best in-class. Moreover, the optional Bluetooth keyboard is another good feature of the Pixel. It has a stunning magnetic docking hinge with the tablet to lock and it firmly fixes the tablet from falling of. Separate charging of keyboard is not required and it automatically draws the power once it is fixed with the tablet.
It supports connectivity features like Bluetooth 4.1, USB 3.0 and Wi-Fi options.
